Peer Reviewer
Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Holistic Journal of Agriculture (HJA) are subject to a peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, validity, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
The review process follows the stages below:
- Initial Editorial Screening
The editorial team evaluates the submitted manuscript to ensure its suitability with the journal’s focus and scope, compliance with author guidelines, originality, language quality, and basic academic standards. - Plagiarism Screening
Manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection tools. Manuscripts with a high similarity index or indications of unethical academic practice may be returned to the author or rejected. - Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to qualified reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript’s topic. The review process is conducted objectively and professionally. - Editorial Decision
Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editor may decide one of the following outcomes: - Accepted;
- Accepted with minor revisions;
- Revisions required;
- Resubmission required;
- Rejected.
- Revision and Final Evaluation
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to reviewers’ comments and editorial suggestions. The revised manuscript will be evaluated before the final decision is made.
The final decision regarding manuscript acceptance rests with the Editor-in-Chief based on reviewers’ assessments, editorial considerations, and the manuscript’s contribution to the field.
